Welcome to the shop.

Legacy Taxidermy is located in Rigby,Idaho just below where the Snake Rivers Henrys’ Fork and the South Fork comes together. There is abundant hunting all around for Elk, Mule deer, Whitetail deer, Antelope, Black bear, as well as small game , waterfowl and upland birds. We are also know for our premier fishing waters ; The South Fork and Henry’s of the Snake , the Teton River , and Henry’s Lake.

A little about me.

       Living here in Idaho I have spent my time hunting, fishing and trapping all my life, sometimes to the extent that I forgot everything else. This year marks my 40th season in the field and I look forward to another good year with family and friends. Around 9 years ago I started taxidermy and it helps me continue enjoying the outdoors and has become a great hobby.  I enjoy being in my shop and I hope my mounts are starting to look like the real thing. You never quit learning and I am always eager to pick up any new ideas or methods.  I look forward to the challange of making your trophy of a lifetime look like it could walk off.  Thanks for looking , Jay
